Transforming Vacant Storefronts

Join us for the rescheduled public premiere of our Transforming Vacant Storefronts project! This free event is open to all with entertainment and warm refreshments. Weather permitting, we will gather on February 3rd from 1-4pm at Heritage Plaza on Main Street in Weed.

Artworks from artists Chelsea Lakis, Amanda Thompson, Bianca de Franchis, Sharon Swingle, and Jenny Florence will be featured.

Art Radio

Art Radio is a podcast hosted by the Siskiyou County Arts Council located in Northern California on the land of the Klamath, Karuk, Okwanuchu, Wintu, Modoc, Pit River nations, Shasta Indians and many more Shastan Peoples in Siskiyou County whom we give utmost gratitude to. We aim to uplift the creative voices of the county through this podcast medium.

Art Drop Program

The Siskiyou County Arts Council is launching our Art DROP program, creating a series of free art supply share stations in the most remote communities in Siskiyou County. 

Emergency Preparedness Program

The Siskiyou County Arts Council is developing a network to support the capacity and ability of arts and cultural organizations and artists in Siskiyou County to respond effectively to disasters and emergencies.

Poetry Out Loud

An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation, participants master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life. 

SCRAPS Art Cart

The goal of the SCRAPS Art Cart program is to promote understanding and to facilitate creative action on current issues that we face in our community, by offering eco-educational art activities and county-wide engagement.

California Creative Corps

The California Creative Corps pilot program is a media, outreach, and engagement campaign designed to increase awareness related to issues such as public health, water and energy conservation, climate mitigation, and emergency preparedness, relief, and recovery.

Siskiyou X Days

Siskiyou X Days is a ten-day all-county open studios/art experience event, featuring and connecting the diverse and unique artistic talent of Siskiyou. X Days is a program intended to drive arts and culture tourism through communities, particularly smaller communities off I5.
