Linda M. Smith – Heart And Star Studios

Linda M. Smith is a visual and literary artist based in the Southern Cascades of Northern
California. She is the owner of Heart And Star Studios. She has been making and selling her
Handmade Artist’s Greeting Cards and Reprints for over 5 years as of this writing.
She is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, and a native Californian. She holds an AA
Degree, and a Web Builder’s Certificate in General Education from College of the Siskiyous in
Weed, CA.

“What moves me to create and share as well as sell my own artwork is my love for life,
and for people and things that strike me as beautiful, or at least interesting and intriguing. I have
taken art classes on and off since Junior High, and I have received wonderful support from
communities both local and remote.
I have made and sold well over 100 original pieces of artwork, with colored and graphite
pencils as well as watercolor pen and mixed-media. I have sold these at the gatherings and in the
streets of Mount Shasta, CA. The coronavirus epidemic has affected my business, but I continue
to sell Commissions and Berryvale plus Moonlit Canyon (the old SereniTea/Travel Store) offer
some of my cards for sale as well.
A grant last year enabled me to afford a decent printer, and so I am able to offer reprints
of my artwork which I have sold and arrived over the years.”
