Connecting
Borders Barn
Quilt Trail
With support from the California Arts Council, the Siskiyou County Arts Council is developing a regional barn quilt trail in the Klamath Basin to increase area tourism and community pride. “Connecting Borders” is a two year placemaking project in the Klamath Basin that establishes a trail of barn quilt panels, designed and made by local artists and communities members, to express and celebrate personal and community identity, history, and values. This is a collaborative project engaging local artists, the Butte Valley Museum & Historical Society, Rural Klamath Connects, and residents of Butte Valley, Dorris, Tulelake and southern Oregon communities.”
