Julia Rose is self taught in watercolor and oil painting. She mostly uses photographs and at times real life subjects. Her paintings are colorful, animated, and whimsical. Inspired by the natural world Julia strives to embrace this beauty as her foundation. Julia derives pleasure from painting florals, wildlife and domestic animals. The subjects that fire her passion have at their source a well of wonder. Julia’s spiritual essence aligns when painting from her experiences and practices. From eye to brush to paper, Julia is happy to play and pray with her art-making.
