Art Among Us
Art Among Us exposes the community to
more frequent and varied art genres by offering interesting and provoking artists and events, including Yreka Art Hops.
Voices of the Golden Ghosts
Voices of the Golden Ghosts began in 2018 and with the goal to tell a more realistic picture of local history. The project focuses on the free and enslaved African Americans who took part in the gold rush. Director Mark Oliver gathered 20 authors and produced a book of essays of the same name: ‘Voices of the Golden Ghosts-African Americans in the California Gold Rush.’
